Iraq says it has fulfilled its obligations to the International Atomic Energy Agency



Twilight News / confirmed Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said Wednesday that his country has fulfilled consequential link with its International Atomic Energy Agency obligations.

Jaafari said during a meeting with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukiya Amano on the sidelines of meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York to meet Iraq in the relevant International Atomic Energy Agency's international obligations.

Jaafari and pointed to the need to continue to work, and to do everything that would support the vital role of the IAEA in limiting the spread of nuclear weapons, and to benefit from nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

For his part, praised the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukiya Amano cooperation shown by Iraq for the success of the Agency's work, referring to the pursuit of the agency to establish training workshops for Iraqi specialists in this regard out of Iraq in order to promote cooperation between Iraq and the International Atomic Energy Agency, directed Iraq's invitation to attend the summit to be held by the Agency in Vienna at the ministerial level in 2016.
