Parliamentary Finance: We will work to reduce the budget deficit to reduce the value

Tomorrow Press / Baghdad confirmed the parliamentary finance committee member Husam punitive, Wednesday, that the Commission will work to reduce the public budget which evaluated the B113 trillion value of up to a maximum of 105 trillion.

He said the punitive told the "Press tomorrow", that "the parliamentary Finance Committee has the right to reduce the value of the general budget in order to reduce the deficit, and in the coming period will have a coordination with the ministries and the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in order to reduce the budget."

He noted that "the general budget painted on the 113 trillion and this large number of what experienced by Iraq of austerity, and by deficit reached 29 trillion," calling on all ministries to "rely on operational budgets, and the shortcut on the important in the investment budget."

He added that the punitive "2016 budget evaluated on the export of 3.6 million barrels per day, a figure that did not get to export until the moment can not be relied upon."
