Parliament fails to amend the investment law

Failed Iraqi Council of Representatives, on Wednesday, during its 23 adoption of the Second Amendment to the investment law, as to him after the Eid al-Adha holiday.

A parliamentary source said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided during the 23rd session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year, which was held today, to postpone the vote on the draft second amendment to the Law of Investment Law No. (13) of 2006, to the post Eid al-Adha holiday".

He attributed the source, who asked not to be named, the reasons for the delay to "the existence of differences on some of the paragraphs of the law."

The supreme religious authority Ali al-Sistani, announced on Tuesday (September 15 2015), for evidence of the vision of legitimacy for the month of Dhu al-Hijjah to be the day the first days of the month, and this holiday Eid al-Adha be on Thursday (September 24 2015), in conjunction with the announcement of the Kingdom of Saudi Saudi Arabia on the first day of Eid.

The Iraqi Council of Representatives held on Wednesday, 23 of its first legislative term of the second legislative year, headed by first deputy chairman of the House of Representatives Hamoudi and the presence of 195 deputies, while the agenda of the meeting included a vote on the second reading of bills for another three.
