Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided on Tuesday to postpone the 19th session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year to the day on Wednesday, due to differences on the draft law of the National Guard.

A parliamentary source said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided to postpone the 19th session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year, scheduled to be held today, Wednesday-to-day."

He attributed the source, who asked not to be named, the reasons for the delay to "the differences between the political blocs on some paragraphs of the draft law of the National Guard."

He was scheduled to see today's meeting, vote on the draft to impose fees on vehicles for the purposes of maintenance of streets, bridges, and question the Ministers of Agriculture and Water Resources Law, and discuss seven other laws.

The president of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri, the first on Sunday, (September 62 015), during his speech at the reform of the security sector and defense in the Iraq conference, "The House of Representatives will vote on the draft law of the National Guard on Tuesday.

As announced by First Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Hamoudi, on Monday (September 72 015), for raising the National Guard Law of the parliament session, which was scheduled agenda, on Tuesday, until the holding of amendments to it, stressing the need not to alienate law the achievements of the popular crowd and the security forces.

The Iraqi Council of Ministers approved in February 2015, a draft of the National Guard law and referred it to the parliament for a vote.

The Presidency of the Council of Representatives of Iraq lifted, in the 30th of August 2015, the meeting of 18 of the legislative term of the first second legislative year to Tuesday, (the eighth month of September 2015), after the vote on the National Guard law until further notice, and vote on salary payments IDP areas of the organization (Daash) and the end of the second reading of three draft laws and postpone reading four laws.
