Wasit warns traders from smuggling currency across the bomber East

Wasit (newsletter) local government warned in Wasit Governorate, Iraqi traders from smuggling currency across the bomber East, after hundreds of Iranians converged on the port for the purchase of the US dollar.

The source explained to a reporter (News Agency news) Friday: that a large number of citizens and Iranian traders estimated hundreds appeared on port Zurbatiyah 90 kilometers east of the city of Kut, to buy the dollar rising against Iranian the Toman rate because the imposition of sanctions on the Iranian economy.

Source: the owners of offices and currency banking companies flocked to port Zurbatiyah to sell US dollars to Iranians there since yesterday in port to buy the currency. He said the local government in Wasit threatened to arrest anyone smuggling currency, noting that the smuggling of currency would adversely affect the domestic market. And the United States and European Nations announced a series of sanctions on the Iranian economy and prevented European Nations from buying Iranian oil which led to devaluation of the Toman Exchange US dollar vs Iran.
