It confirmed the MP for the Bloc citizen Layla al-Khafaji, on Friday, that the parties law voted by the House of Representatives to impose penal sanctions for parties that violate its provisions, indicating that the law would prohibit the parties from exercising their activities and interference in other countries.

Said al-Khafaji, she said that "the law of parties represents a package of reforms and regulates the functioning of political parties in terms of its activities and its relationship with other countries and the issue of established parties and linked to the Department of Affairs".

Khafaji said that "the law also identified the issue of subsidies from the state, which must rely on their participation two sessions constituencies," indicating that "the law would prohibit the parties from exercising their activities and interference in other countries."

She continued that "the law to impose penal sanctions for parties that are contrary to the provisions of this law, and gave notice a year to adapt to the law to determine its activities," asserting that "the law will encourage political pluralism in the country and served by a lot."

The House voted on Thursday (August 27, 2015) unanimously on the law of parties.
