During a meeting with the foreign ministers of Defense and the President of the Norwegian Parliament: the reform process will continue and Parliament is continuing to build the democratic structure of Iraq

The head of the House of Representatives, Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri, on Sunday, that the reform process taking place in Iraq will continue, and that the Iraqi parliament is continuing to build the democratic structure of Iraq, either through legislation of laws that touch the daily reality of the citizen or through monitoring government performance and accountability for negligence.

This came during a meeting in his office this morning sovereignty Norwegian Foreign Minister Borg Prendh and Secretary of Defense Inna Sordi their accompanying delegation.

During the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly at the parliamentary level and strengthen economic cooperation, as well as the overall situation in the region.

President al-Jubouri, was called during the meeting to re-opening of the Norwegian embassy in Iraq, stressing the importance of continued international support for Iraq especially in the current stage.

For his part, the Norwegian foreign minister stressed that his country is looking strong, cohesive and prosperous future for Iraq and that it is committed to providing the necessary support for this purpose.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in Parliament and a number of the members of the Committee and the ambassadors of the two countries, in addition to a number of gentlemen advisers.
