Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi stressed can not interfere with the judiciary as an independent authority expected response to calls for reform, along the lines of the executive and legislative branches.

Said Saad al-Hadithi, spokesman for the Information Office of the Prime Minister that the Iraqi political system is based on the separation of powers and independence of the judiciary from the executive branch and it is not entitled to the executive law interfering with the judiciary or spelling it as he does, noting that the Supreme Judicial Council is a head of the judiciary and shall Follow-up work and draws both its policy with regard to the Federal Court or Federal Court of Cassation and a judicial supervision of public prosecutors and others.

Sabri added that the Constitution provides that the Supreme Judicial Council is to nominate its members and the names of his presidency to parliament for a vote therefore there is no role of the executive authority to do so.
