Supreme Judicial Council to hold an extraordinary meeting on Sunday to discuss the independence of the judiciary

The federal judiciary has decided to hold an expanded meeting to offer proposals for the development of the judicial work constantly and to promote justice and the consolidation of the independence of the judiciary.

The spokesman said the judiciary Abdul Sattar Bayrakdar in a statement, it "decided to hold meetings on Saturday in both: the Federal Supreme Court, the Federal Cassation Court, and the Presidency of General Prosecution Service, and the presidency of judicial oversight body, and all the presidencies centers Courts of Appeal, Criminal Court Central ".

He added that "meetings attended by judges and public prosecutors," pointing to "it aims to provide proposals for constantly development of the judicial work in the courts and judicial systems and raise the performance of its members and to promote justice and bring it closer to the citizen and the removal of the elimination of what affects the independence".

He pointed out that "an extraordinary meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council will be held next Sunday to discuss these proposals Thmeda to be applied by the auditor."

The decision comes with inter reforms put forward by the government and the House of Representatives in response to the directives of the Supreme religious authority and the demands of the demonstrators
