Shafaq News / The three Presidencies in Iraq ; Presidency of the Republic, the Parliament and the ministers stressed on the need for reforms in the state and its departments institutions, and address the financial and administrative corruption rampant in response to popular claims launched by the demonstrators in protests in regions and provinces in the country.
A presidential statement that was held at the Peace Palace in Baghdad on Tuesday evening noted that the meeting of the three authorities was in the presence of President of the Republic , Fuad Masum, the Prime Minister , Haider al-Abadi , Parliament Speaker, Salim al-Jubouri , Chief of Justice council ;Medhat al-Mahmoud, the Vice-President of the Republic ;Nuri Kamal al-Maliki ; Iyad Allawi and Osama al-Nujaifi , Vice-Prime Minister Bahaa al-Araji and Saleh al-Mutlaq, and Vice President of the Parliament ,Humam Hamoudi.
The statement said that the meeting, which was devoted to discuss the concerns of the citizens stressed the importance of making the doors of the three powers wide open to receive and accept the demands and proposals of citizens in this regard, and the need to take urgent measures and decisions to ensure initiate real , fast and efficient processors to serve the country and promote freedom, justice and provide opportunities for human life to all Iraqis.
The statement added that the meeting stressed the reform of all institutions and state agencies and the popular current momentum gives more confidence and strength to take bold and decisive decisions in this direction in the fight against corruption and to address neglect in some government facilities.
The statement noted that the meeting acknowledged that ensuring security, stability , the rule of law and the protection of the democratic system, are together basically a way to give the demands of everyone from the start to meet the legitimate demands as security and service without neglecting that the country is in a war against terrorism which targets the destruction of Iraqis life.
