Security forces storm Albu Ghanim area in Ramadi and liberate 50% of it

Shafaq News / Security forces stormed Albu Ghanim area in Ramadi city in Anbar province on Sunday, according to a source of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU).

The source told Shafaq News that "the troops were able to retake 50 percent of the area in Ramadi," adding that " progress is constant ".

According to sources in the Iraqi police, violent fighting is going on in the meantime in central Baiji.

A police officer told Shafaq News that “ISIS" terrorists attacked the city center and is now going on fighting with the police and PMU”.

He added that "another attack took place west of Baiji areas in the meantime," without reference to more details.
