Iraq resumes pumping oil through a pipeline to Turkey

Shafaq News / A shipping agent said on Thursday that Iraq resumed pumping oil through the pipeline runs to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean Sea,

after exposure of the line to an attack by vandals.

The agent said according to the report published by Reuters that oil pumping process has been resumed on Wednesday evening using after the attack, which was announced earlier.

The Turkish Energy Minister, Taner Yildiz announced on Wednesday, that the Turkish –Iraqi pipeline was attacked this morning resulting in stop pumping oil.

Taner Yildiz has said that saboteurs attacked a pipeline carrying natural gas from Iran to Turkey, in Ağrı province east of the country late on Monday, which halted the supplies.
