You probably have heard of Edward Snowden or Karen Hudes from the World Bank.

They are whistleblowers who exposed lies, abuse, illegal acts on a massive scale by governing bodies. Whether you believe the propaganda that Snowden was a traitor who betrayed his country by alerting Americans that their government was illegally spying on them or believe he was courageous because he risked everything to warn the American public that all their electronic communications were being recorded and reviewed – is simply a matter of perspective and is not the point of this piece.

This piece concerns two questions :

    1. What employee of a 3 Letter Agency, (include Senior Banking Officials and active Military Brass) has never heard of Snowden?

    2. Do you believe that 3 Letter Agency employees and officials (same for Banking and Military) are required to sign confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements and face serious consequences for breaking them?

Keep those questions firmly in mind as you read on.

Taking this a step further, let’s apply some basic elementary school logic. Why do you think some gurus continue to post ‘intel’ on a steady basis from sources that are clearly incorrect and misleading?

As a school kid, did you continue to trust a friend that rarely told you anything accurate? How many times did you get misled before you stopped believing or listening to them? Did they become the ‘boy who cried wolf’ in your mind?

Now, pretend the guru sharing this daily inaccurate and/or misleading info has any logic or smarts. After several times of completely false ‘intel’ from their trusted well-placed source, why would they keep listening to and passing on obviously bad info? Why pass on things that could lead to bad decisions or negative outcomes if you have any regard for the audience or your own reputation and credibility?

Mostly, you don’t need more than a 3rd or 4th grade education to come up with the quite apparent conclusions. Your regular MIS-informant is either deliberately lying or deliberately ignoring the fact that they have worthless (at best) info they are feeding you.

Ask yourself, why are you still paying any attention to someone posting lies or deliberate mis-information? Why are you literally supporting their mischief?

Returning to question 2 – Do you actually believe a series of high level sources (gov’t., bank, military) would give out daily information about rates, bank conditions, etc. and not think they were likely to get caught (remember emails, phone, mail, all being monitored and recorded)? Having their “insider” info posted over weeks and months, for the world to view, seems like a rather bizarre behavior. Why would this group of officials, on a daily basis, risk losing their jobs and being prosecuted? UST rates, bank personnel preparations, Iraqi sources confirming an RV, the list goes on. If these ‘intel’ sources actually were leaking accurate real info – they would have been stopped.

Addressing the known concept and practice of dis-information, the net result is still the same. If all these theoretical sources were tasked with giving out bad info, why is your supposedly ‘helpful smart’ guru still buying their manure and feeding it to you? What does that say about the guru?

Could there be another explanation for all the predictably false date, rate and bank info? I see the child of a stockbroker waving their hand with an answer. “Well, everyone probably know this, but if you are a broker (commodity, stocks, bonds, or currency) you make money on every transaction. Buy or sell – it doesn’t matter, you make a profit.

So if the guru is so dense they trust and believe bad sources of information repeatedly – don’t be equally dense. If they continually claim great rates and either good or bad news, (that has a track record of 100% inaccuracy) – realize they are likely getting paid to post the “intel ?” that will make you either buy or sell currency. They profit as long as you were triggered and react.

Let’s be clear, there are a number of newshounds that are doing a great job at providing research, news and other financial information. They are offering to educate you on how to keep and grow your potential gifts/rewards from this investment. They offer ideas designed to move you beyond the pointless conversation about the rate and date. They offer possible scenarios and guesstimates and regularly point out that these are opinions not hard facts. They make a point of saying few people know and no one is going to tell what the rate and date will be. This same group is trying to point out the folly of acting on advice from repeated misleading posters with questionable intentions.

Use your time to take advantage of the insights and financial education being offered by the people that are trying to help you. It is so simple to spot the daily fairy tales, listen for a moment and you can almost hear the background message yelling, “Buy / Sell – just do either, we want your money”.
