Waiver of the coalition in Iraq to claim the transfer of proceedings with Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi accused of supporting armed operations, to Kurdistan, from the requirement to provide an assurance to set up in Baghdad.

Position expressed by the new Iraqi MP Hassan Salman, who confirmed that leadership in the list and Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi was ready to appear in court in Baghdad after being given assurances that ensure a fair trial and protect him and make arrests without trial.

Salman said in a press statement yesterday: Although there are reservations with Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, his appearance before the courts of Baghdad, but if given a fair trial guarantees and insurance protection to him and make arrests without trial, it will be before the courts of Baghdad.

He added that the Iraqi List, capitalizing on the initiative of President Jalal Talabani to resolve outstanding problems and reach results that satisfy all the political blocs.

He said the Iraqi MP: that the coming days will see an expanded meeting of the leaders of political blocs within Talabani's initiative to resolve outstanding problems between the political blocs, especially the recent.

The Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has expressed opposition to referral of the case and the achievement of Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi to the territory of Kurdistan, asking him to appear before the court.

Maliki said last Wednesday: could not resolve the issue of al-Hashemi political settlement or mediation can not accept anything and it is up to the Iraqi judiciary.

He revealed the Prime Minister about the involvement of members of the protection elements Hashemi assassination of an official at the National Security Service said that the confessions protect Hashemi demonstrated the involvement of some in the assassination of an officer in the national security and his wife in Baghdad late last month, and we promise to reveal more of the confessions of these elements in the assassinations in the coming days.

Hashemi asked in reference to the arrest warrant, "Why now? Because the Americans will leave the country and will try it (Maliki) to get rid of political opponents?"

Hashemi pointed out that "the National Alliance parliamentary bloc, the main Shiite and should have the right to nominate the Prime Minister of another Shiite successor to the owners, and that he would respect his choice," adding, "Any person who would replace Maliki would be welcome."

Hashemi and saw that the "serious solution to the situation in Iraq now is to replace Maliki," noting, "If you change the al-Maliki will be able to deal with any other candidate."


And among al-Hashemi "There are a number of potential candidates to replace Maliki, whom Ibrahim al-Jaafari, who took over as prime minister between 2005 and 2006, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, former Vice-President, who is generally seen as more independent, and Ahmad Chalabi."
