    Motahedoon coalition: The government is completely losing control

    BAGHDAD / NINA / Motahedoon coalition, headed by Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi said Iraq is witnessing a sharp collapse of security, which cannot be tolerated."

    He said in a press statement: "What is happening in Iraq today from bombings and assassinations if it happened in any country in the world would have changed the political map."

    Motahedoon explained in its statement that every night the Iraqis are undergoing bombings in various areas / Mosul, Kirkuk, Karrada, Mansour, Topchi Babil and wounded Diyala / adding, "The government is now losing control almost completely."


    The statement stressed that the multiplicity and diversity of bombings and their places and kinds indicates that the whole Iraq is targeted indiscriminately and our people should unite to thwart these malicious schemes.

    Baghdad and a number of provinces have seen, over the past few days, a series of bombings, by car bombs and improvised explosive devices claimed the lives of dozens of dead and wounded.

    Emergency session on next Thursday to discuss the security situation in Baghdad and Diyala

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The rapporteur of the House of Representatives MP Mohammed al-Khalidi announced that the presidency of the Council decided to hold an emergency session on next Thursday to discuss the security situation in Baghdad and Diyala.

    He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / the session will be held in the presence of the Governments of the two provinces.

    Mutlaq accuses some security elements of involvement in what is happening in Diyala

    BAGHDAD / NINA / Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq accused some military elements of involvement in what is happening in Diyala.

    He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "as long as we warned and demanded to re-purge of the security services and military institutions from elements that offend the unity of the Iraqi people."

    He stressed: "The best solution to the security problem is to hold real balance in the military and security agencies to pull the country out of the great impasse."

    Some of the areas of Diyala province recently witnessed killings and sectarian displacement, which led to the displacement of a large number of families out of those areas.

    altaltShafaq News / More than 500 people were killed since the beginning of current July in Iraq, by a number of car bombings, roadside bombs devices and armed attacks.

    Till now, no one claimed responsibility for the bombings that took place this month, despite security authorities that accused the armed groups belonging to al-Qaeda in Iraq.

    As 65people were killed and 190 were wounded by 12 car bombs and two bombs that hit different areas in the capital Baghdad yesterday.

    AFP news agency said that the toll number was based on security , military and medical sources , briefed by “ Shafaq News” ,” since the beginning of July, about 525 people were killed in Iraq, which means that the rate of victims of the daily violence in Iraq is amounted to about 25 people.

    The agency said that Saturday's attacks were the deadliest in the country since 78 people were killed on the tenth of June.

    Violence attacks in Iraq increasingly have a sectarian and have escalated to target mosques in different parts of the country.

    Iraq is witnessing a new wave of violence targeting cafes in which young people gather in it, especially after Iftar in Ramadan as well as football playgrounds, in bloody attacks that killed and wounded dozens over the past weeks.

    The security services of the army and police forces have failed to extend its control on the ground and reduce the escalation of violence, although the change conducted by on many of its leaders during the last three months the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Nuri al-Maliki, who has ruled the country since 2006, as Iraq’s forces is around 800 thousand men.

    The Iraqi government still relies a vague media approach about violence, where its officials ignore these attacks, which are also ignored by the semi-official media trying to minimize its importance
