Baghdad (NINA) – The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) announced that the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, issued a decision transferring his representative to Iraq, Martin Kobler, to the Congo, to head its UN Mission there.
Spokeswoman for UNAMI Elena Naba, told NINA on Monday, June 10, that the UN SG issued a decision transferring his representative to Iraq, Martin Kobler, to the Congo Republic, to head the UN Mission there.
She added that Ki-Moon decided to appoint Roger Mess, US national, as his representative to Iraq, saying that this is a routine measure that takes place every two years. / End.
