    A source in Anbar police said to NINA reporter : "Khafaji discussed in Anbar Operations Command headquarters the possibility of holding elections and to address what he described as security breaches.

    The Cabinet renewed in its regular meeting last Tuesday,headed by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, its earlier decision to postpone the elections in the provinces of Nineveh and Anbar, stressing that cancelation of the decisio depend on the demise of the security constraints which are set forth in the latest security intelligence reports ".

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The independent MP, Jawad al-Bazzooni said the main goal of the recent bombings is to justify hosting Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in parliament.

    He added in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "some people are looking for an excuses to make hosting Prime Minister more justified indicating that this is a thoughtful and planned in advance."

    He explained that "If Prime Minister came to the parliament, he is expected to reveal those caused the blasts and some of them is a part of the government, parliament and this in turn would lead to a crisis".

    A series of car bombs went off yesterday, targeting mosques in Baghdad and Kirkuk, killed and wounded dozens of people.

    Baghdad and Kirkuk provinces witnessed new spate of bombings that targeted worshipers and resulted in killing and injuring dozens.

    4 Million Iraqis live below poverty line

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP Kadhim al-Shimmery the member of the Work and Social Affairs Parliamentary Committee stated that "About four million persons are living below poverty line and the income average for these people did not improve.''

    He reported in statement received by AIN on Thursday "The Ministry of Planning mentioned that the average of the Iraqi person's income is about USD (4000) yearly, considering the dividing of the State Budget on the number of people.''

    "A wide segment of the Iraqi people suffer many problems such as the unemployment since the Ministry of Planning estimated the unemployment rate with 15% while other sources reported that the unemployment rate actually hit 66% of the Iraqi people,'' he added.

    Baghdad (AIN) -The Secretary General of the Patriotic Sons of Iraq, Coalition, Abbas al-Mohamedawi, accused the Independent High Electoral Commission of dealing with the political entities on sectarian base.

    Mohamedawi said in a statement received by AIN "Regrettably, the IHEC prevents any political entity headed by certain sect from presenting nominees for the local elections in a province which is resided by another sect," stressing " This situation obliged those political slates to ally with other electoral slates to forward their nominees."

    "This procedure indicates the Commission's aim to split Iraq and apply Biden's project of splitting Iraq," he added arguing "We cannot trust the IHEC as it is clear that it will manipulate the results of the next local elections."
