Australia allocated $ 8 million to help Iraq

Baghdad, 13 December / December (Rn) - The Australian Ambassador in Iraq Tuesday that the Australian government of Iraq allocated $ 8 million to restore the infrastructure in Iraq.

Said Lyndall Sachs during a seminar at the University of Baghdad, said "Australia has a strong relationship with Iraq and we participated with the multinational forces to change the system of government ... we helped build Iraq and our work with all institutions and at all levels."
And continued "The Australian Government will allocate $ 8 million to help Iraq restore its infrastructure and ... there will be agreements for the development of agriculture and industry as well as cooperation, which will be at the ministerial level."

"The Australian government sought to bring Iraq into the WTO Alama ... our future cooperation will be in the areas of education and health."
