    KA's stance over 2013 Budget, not determined yet, says MP

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Deputy Head of the Kurdistani Alliance, Mohsin al-Saadoun, stated that the ministers and MPs of the KA did not determine their stance over the 2013 Budget yet without the participation of the Kurds.

    Speaking to All Iraq News Agency (AIN), he said "The Kurds officials in the Central Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government will continue holding their meetings till achieving the suitable decision over this issue."

    "The Kurdish MPs will not attend the parliament session that will be held on the 19th of March due to be coinciding with Nawrouz Eid, but their attendance to the sessions after is not determined yet.

    The House of Representatives voted, last Thursday, on the Federal Budget Law for 2013, with the absence of Kurdish blocs and some of Iraqiya MPs.

    The Presidency of the Kurdistan region called on, in a statement after the meeting, to consult widely to fruit the situation to protect the democratic system in Iraq.

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Latif Mustafa of the Kurdish Change bloc stated "The 2013 General Budget was not formed in an artistic, technical and federal way."

    He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "We will get the same results from the current Budget as we have got from the previous budgets of the last three years," calling to "Cancel the 2013 Budget and make it federal Budgets in addition to canceling the federal ministries and transfer their budgets to the regions development."

    "The budgets of the ministries are subject to corruption," he added.

    "I call the political sides not to wait positive achievements from the current Budget because it is based on wrong basis and most of it will be for the corrupted officials," he concluded.

    Musawi urges politicians to endorse delayed law drafts

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Secretary General of The Independent Iraq Trend, Ali Dhari al-Fayadh, called all the honest politicians to re-consider their stances and form the political majority government.

    In a press statement received by AIN, he said "Forming the political majority government will positively affect the citizens and preserve the sovereign decision in addition to preserving the interests of all the Iraqi constituents.

    Dulaimi: Endorsing Budget proves political majority

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Secretary General of Correction Movement within the Iraqiya Slate, Kamil al-Dulaimi, stated that endorsing the General Budget of 2013 is an evidence on the political majority.

    Speaking to All Iraq News Agency (AIN), he said " One of the priorities of the parliament is to endorse the laws that serve the demonstrators where there is a crisis caused by this issue," noting that "Since endorsing the Budge proves the political majority and not deals, there is no justification for the political blocs to delay endorsing these laws that are related to the demonstrators."

    He stressed the necessity of "Concentrating on these laws such as the Justice and Accountability law and the General Amnesty law."

    INA MP describes IS's objection over 2013 Budget as "Complicating crisis"

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP Mohammed al-Bayati of the Turkmen Community within the Iraqi National Alliance described the objection of the Iraqiya Slate over the 2013 General Budget as "Complicating the current crisis."

    MP urges IS Minister to resume performance or resign

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Abdul al-Salam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition confirmed that keeping some Ministries run by Acting Ministers is unacceptable issue and will not serve Iraq.

    He stated to AIN “Iraq faces great challenges and the foreign and internal threats are not little.”

    “The national interests must not be neglected according to some political sides’ desires,” he added, noting that “These sides must choose to participate in the Government or to be as opposition.”

    “The Ministers of the Iraqiya Slate must settle their stance either by resuming their performance in the Ministries or to reign like the Ministers of Finance and Agriculture,” he concluded.
