Ratifying Federal Budget by majority of votes best solution, says Allaq
    Sunday, 03 March 2013 15:42 | | |

Baghdad (AIN) -MP Ali al-Allaq of the State of Law Coalition described the mechanism of voting by majority on the Federal Budget of 2013 as the final solution to settle the ratification of the budget.

Allaq told All Iraq News Agency (AIN) on Sunday "Till now, the disagreement over the vote on the Federal Budget is not settled yet where there are several proposals concerning including the item of paying the dues of the foreign oil companies working in Kurdistan Region within the Budget."

"The Kurdistan Alliance is insistent on including 4,2 IQD trillion as financial dues for those oil companies while the other parliament blocs say that this amount is large which is double the actual amount that should be paid for those companies."

Allaq expected that "Both opinions will be voted on where the two sides seek to achieve the majority of votes which is the best solution to settle this issue as I think."

The parliament is scheduled to hold the session devoted to vote on the Federal Budget on next Monday.
