    Dispute over the budget is just on dues of oil companies in Kurdistan.

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The MP, of the (patriots) parliamentary bloc, Juma'a al-Matuti said all differences about the federal budget bill was resolved except for problems related to the amounts of oil companies operating in the Kurdistan region.

    He explained in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The question of increasing amounts for regional development has been resolved and the amounts will be converted from the ministries' projects to ensure increasing without taking money from the Defense Ministry."


    He added, "The popular protests near the Green Zone require political blocs to speed up solving the problems related to budget and stay away from personal."

    The House of Representatives will hold today 27, Feb a meeting attended by the heads of the National Alliance, Iraqiya coalition and the Kurdistan Alliance blocs with Rose Nuri Shaways, Deputy Prime Minister, the Finance Committee, the Minister of Planning, Acting Minister of Finance and Chairman of Supreme Audit and the Minister of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan region to discuss the federal budget for 2013 to reach final version voted on in the House of Representatives later.

    Citizens of the Sadrist movement has demonstrated yesterday in front of the parliament demanding quick pass to the budget

    SLC MP: KA call to grant KR 50% of its oil revenues to complicate disputes

    Baghdad (AJN) –MP, Iman al-Waeli, of the State of Law Coalition assured “The call of the Kurdistani Alliance to grant Kurdistan Region 50% of its oil revenues will complicate the disputes between KR and the oil producing provinces like Basra and Kirkuk.”

    Speaking to AIN, she called “KR Government to postpone such call since the most of the vital parts in the State and even the people depend on the endorsement of the Budget law.”

    “The session of last Tuesday that was devoted to endorse the budget turned into a dialogue session among MPs and the political blocs,” he concluded.

    IS supporters neglected their slate, says MP

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Hasan Ozman, of the Iraqiya Slate said that “The supporters of the IS started to neglect it.”

    He stated to AIN “The masses gave up their support for the IS while there are radical religious leaderships appeared in Iraq.”

    “The sectarian project became more prominent that the national project adopted by the Slate,” he added.

    “The national project starts to be vanished in Iraq in contrast with the escalating sectarian project,” he concluded.

    Alewi calls Sunni, Shiite clergymen to hold national conference to denounce sectarianism

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Kareem Alewi, of the Iraqi National Alliance called the chieftains and the Sunni as well as Shiite clergymen to hold a national conference to unify Iraqis and to denounce sectarianism.

    He mentioned in a statement received by AIN “The situation is critical and there are attempts to duplicate the Syrian current situation in Iraq through sectarianism.”

    He called “Anbar citizens to remember the crimes of Qaeda Organization committed against them to avoid these terrorists who want to come through demonstrations.”

    He urged “All the clergymen and the chieftains from all the sects to stand against foreign plots that aim at creating sedition once again.”

    Tahir confirms political aims behind disputes over Budget law of 2013

    Baghdad (AIN) –The independent MP, Abdul Khudur al-Tahir, assured that the disputes over the Budget law of 2013 are attributed to political aims.

    He stated to AIN “Even if the demands concerning this law are legitimate and legal, they would better be partitioned and to be called for strictly.”

    “The issue of the Budget law reached its final stages and the next week it will be presented for a vote after settling the complicated issue that is related to the dues of the oil companies working in Kurdistan Region,” he stressed.

    Thousands of citizens performed a sit-in in front of Parliament Building in protest against the delay of Budget law endorsement.

    Massoud Barzani begins consultations with the political parties early next week.

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The head of KRG's presidency bureau, Fouad Hussein confirmed that the Kurdish regional president Massoud Barzani would begin his consultations with the political parties early next week to explore the attitudes of these parties and their willingness to compromise and seek to solve the problems.

    He said in a press statement that: "The main goal of Barzani's next meetings will be to search for mechanisms and agendas that can be agreed upon by the Iraqi forces to make them basis for the National Conference, noting that without a full consensus about those agendas and mechanisms, It is too early to talk about an urgent national conference."


    About receiving many positive signals from the leaders and officials of the Iraqi political parties to the leadership of the region, he stressed "the need to exploit those signals in order to reach common points about the upcoming National Conference sponsored by Barzani.

    It is mentioned that the head of KRG's presidency bureau Dr. Fuad Hussein, said in a press statement on 15 Feb that : "The President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani will make a new initiative to call for Iraqi parties to meet in Arbil to discuss the developments of the political crisis to find radical solutions."

    The leading figure in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Adnan al-Mufti said in a press statement: "The recent meetings between a number of delegations, including delegations of state of law, the Iraqiya and the Sadrist movement, with the leadership of the province resulted a political consensus on the need to hold such a conference.

    Breaking News-- Kobler arrives Kirkuk and meets its Governor.

    Kirkuk / NINA / Martin Kobler, the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq arrived in Kirkuk on Wednesday morning 27, Feb.

    An official source in the province told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that "Kobler accompanied with a delegation of the UN mission in Iraq / UNAMI / have arrived in Kirkuk and met upon his arrival with the governor of Kirkuk, Dr. Najimalddin Omar Karim in his official office."

    He added that "Kobler will meet a delegation, representing the demonstrators in Kirkuk and Hawija and the political forces supporting the demonstration, clerics and social and political figures."

    It is scheduled that Kobler will hold a press conference about the visit.

    National Alliance: We will not allow extending demonstrations to Baghdad.

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The MP, of the Iraqi National Alliance, Haitham al-Jubouri said: the alliance would not allow extending demonstrations to Baghdad, describing it as a red line.
    He denied in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / existence of a number of scenarios to change the Prime Minister.

    He said: "The issue of replacing Maliki is unlikely ever within the Iraqi National Alliance and what is being addressed today about scenarios to extend the demonstrations in all the cities of Iraq to join the demonstrators in Baghdad to pressure on the government to get the prime minister out is impossible, indicating that" What do the demonstrations in northern areas want is reverse to demonstrators in the south, which makes, spreading the demonstrations in the south is difficult to apply on the ground. "


    He added: "We do not allow, as sponsors of the political process, to extend the demonstrations in Baghdad as the city of Baghdad is a red line and we cannot accept the demonstrations like what is happening today because it is paid demonstrations.

    Abtan calls political blocs to adhere to recommendations of Religious Authority

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Abdul Hussein Abtan, of the Citizen bloc called the political blocs to adhere to the recommendations of the Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah, Ali al-Sistani, who stressed on adhering to the dialogue and concentrating on the citizens, problems.

    He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "We need to set the good atmosphere to settle the crisis in Iraq where all the political blocs have to adhere to Sistani's recommendations who focused on conducting the dialogue and concentrating on the citizens' problems," noting that "The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, was the first one to adhere to Sistani's recommendations."

    Baghdad/ NINA /--Parliament Speaker Osama Nujaifi, gave oil and finance ministers by interim in the federal government and minister natural resource in Kurdistan Regional Government one hour to consult on the subject of entitlements of foreign oil companies operating in the region.

    A parliamentary source announced the start of a meeting between the Presidium of Parliament and Minister of Finance by interim Ali Shukri and Oil Minister Abdul Karim Loaibi in the presence of the central bank governor by interim.

    The source told NINA that Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Rose Nuri Shaways attended the meeting in addition to the Kurdish delegation headed by the Minister of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government Ashti Hawrami.

    The meeting aims to resolve differences on the federal budget bill for 2013, where Kurdistan region demanding payment of dues to oil companies operating in the region, amounting to about 2 t 4 trillion dinars within budget, in addition to install the region's share of the budget, amounting to 17%.
