    Jaafary discuss dues of Oil Foreign Firms working in KR with representatives of INA, KA

    Baghdad (AIN) –The head of the Iraqi National Alliance discussed with representatives of INA and the Kurdistani Alliance the issue of the dues of the Oil Foreign Firms working in Kurdistan Region.


    A statement by Jaafary’s office received by AIN cited “Jaafary headed a meeting involved representatives of INA and KA with the attendance of Minister of Oil, Abdul Kareem Leibi, where all sides agreed upon legal way of paying the dues of the foreign companies and the incomes of the extra oil revenues to go to the Central government in addition to the adherence of KR to exports the quantities of the oil as agreed upon without stoppage.”

    The parliament chairmanship, the heads of the political blocs and the Parliamentary Finance Committee held a meeting on Thursday to discuss 2013 Budget where the meeting resulted in adding one IQD Trillion to the budget of KR without dealing on the merits of the oil companies working in KR.

    Thousands take part in Friday prayers / Iraq or al-Maliki / in Diyala.

    Baquba / NINA /--Thousands of worshipers headed today to hold the unified prayers dubbed / Iraq or al-Maliki / which taking place in eight grand mosques in different cities of Diyala province including Baquba the capital of the province.

    Sheikh Shihab al-Badri, Vice President of the clerics of Iraq, Diyala branch said to NINA reporter :”Thousands of participants in the unified prayer flocked to mosques merging in eight administrative units amid tight security. Calling on the Iraqi government to speed up the implementation of constitutional and legitimate usurped rights of the demonstrators in the provinces.
    The common prayer held in Baquba,the capital of Diyala ,Muqdadiya, Balad Ruz, Jalula.Aladheim ,Qara Tepe and Mansuriyah districts of the province.

    Thousands of demonstrators in Ramadi and Fallujah, demanding bringing down Maliki’s government.

    Ramadi / NINA /-- Thousands of people demonstrated in the cities of Fallujah and Ramadi after Friday prayers, calling on the government to implement the legitimate demands of the protesters.

    Member of the coordinating committees in Anbar province said to NINA reporter: "The masses determined to topple the government of Maliki that ignore the restitution of the usurped rights of the people, but cause them harm.

    Angry demonstrators chanted slogans and carried banners calling on the government to stop sectarian policies .

    Tikrit / NINA /--Preacher of Friday prayers in Samarra , Mohammed Taha Ahamdon called in the sermon of Friday / Iraq or Maliki /as addressing the worshipers in the Square of sit-in to stand shoulder to shoulder against injustice.

    Ahamdon added in Friday sermon / Iraq or al-Maliki /: "The crooked politics lead the country to dire consequences. Pointing out that the situation gets worse and went to the extent that preventing Iraqis from visiting Baghdad, stressing on the harmful implication of displacement practices which return again .

    Ahamdon called on protesters to: "continue to sit by all peaceful means for releasing the innocent detainees", accusing the government of al-Maliki of encouraging the militias to kill and displace the people of Baghdad," he said.

    Othman describes disputes over JAC’s head as political rather than legal

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP, MP, Mahmoud Othman, of the Kurdistani Alliance stressed that the disputes over the head of the Justice and Accountability Commission, Falah Shanshal, are political rather than legal.

    He stated to AIN “The disputes over the legitimacy of Shanshal’s post are basically political rather than legal as some sides want to indicate.”

    “There are no laws or constitution to followed in Iraq because all what we have are political disputes presented through a legal frame,” he added, noting that “At one day there might a law and a counter law issued together which is incorrect.”

    Earlier, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, dismissed the head of the JAC, Falah Shanshal, and tasked Basim Shareef al-Badri, to replace him on the background of involving Mahmoud in the JAC’s procedures of debaathification.

    Political disputes behind delaying Budget law of 2013, says Sadrist MP

    Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Hussein al-Sherifi, of Ahrar bloc assured that the disputes that delay the endorsement of the Budget law of2013 are merely political and aims at achieving some interests not for the citizens.

    He stated to AIN “There are no disputes over the citizens’ interests,” noting that “Some blocs set their interests as condition for endorsing the budget.”

    “MPs of the Kurdistani Alliance, State of Law Coalition and the Iraqiya Slate did not attend the session devoted to the vote on the budget law,” he added.

    He ruled out “Endorsing the budget law if the political blocs adhered to their demands.”

    Maliki, Sadr Trend reach settlement over issue of J&A Commissi

    Baghdad (AIN) –An informed source within the Iraqi National Alliance stated that the tension between the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the Sadr Trend over dismissing the head of the Justice and Accountability Commission, Falah Shanshal within the Sadr Trend, is settled.

    Speaking to All Iraq News Agency (AIN), the source said "The tension between Maliki and the Sadr Trend over dismissing Shanshal is settled."

    "Maliki offered the Sadr Trend some other commissions to head instead of the J&A Commission and it accepted the offer," the source concluded.

    Bagghdad/ NINA /--Iraqiya Arab bloc headed by Saleh al-Mutlaq warned of serious consequences of displacement campaigns in Baghdad", and described it as: "a serious attempt to turn back the situation in Iraq to zero point.

    The bloc said in a statement today that this crime reappeared in Baghdad , but this time the crime perpetrated by what is called the Army of Mokhtar (chosen) with a flagrant keeping silence policy or turning blind eye by the government.

    The statement added: "At a time we warn the government and security apparatus of the consequences of keeping silent and condone of this dangerous sectarian act, we hold them responsible for unintended consequences .

    The statement urged the government to clarify its real stand towards this gang dubbed Army of Almukhtar by act not just by timid statements which makes the observer feel that the government is turning a blind eye to it for reasons only the government is aware about .
