MP expects vote on budget today.
    21/02/2013 09:34:00

BAGHDAD / NINA / The MP, of the state of law coalition, Abdul Salam al-Maliki predicted vote on the state budget in the House of Representatives at its session today despite the controversial points.

Maliki said in a press statement: that the serious discussions and dialogues that took place during the past few days, regarding the budget, had great benefits through reaching consensus on several controversial points but this did not prevent that some other points are still exist that we believe minor points will not affect the budget to be passed at today's meeting. "

He added: "State of law calls for the presidency of parliament to put the budget to a vote with its controversial points and leave its decisiveness to the voting within the parliament, because the current situation made us get to the conviction that the ceilings of the demands will not end to a certain point, so let the lawmakers choose the final paragraphs, which would be passed by gaining a majority of the votes and actually this what we expect at today's meeting. "

He stressed "the importance of approving the budget as soon as possible because delay it more will increase the burden on the state and its institutions dramatically.
