    Kurdish MP rules out approving the Budget.

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance, Chuan Mohamed Taha ruled out approving the budget in the coming period, noting that "political differences affect its approval."

    He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The Kurdistan Alliance has notes on the budget, which is rights, not claims," noting that "the most important right is the share 17% of the budget, an the full payment of the expenses of Peshmerga, as being a part of the military defense system of Iraq , according to the Constitution. "

    He explained: "The Province is also demanding to pay the dues of foreign oil companies operating in the region, because oil imports go back to the federal government, and the disagreement in the Finance Committee, is on the amount allocated to these companies."

    Taha accused some political blocs / unnamed / to use the budget for political purposes, noting that "these blocs are trying to target the Kurdistan region through the budget."

    The MP, of the Iraqiya coalition, Ahmed al-Mesari had also ruled out the approving of the budget today.

    It is scheduled that the federal budget is to be voted in the House of Representatives today, after a series of successive postponements, because of political differences and incompatibilities. The most disputes revolve on the demands of the Kurdistan Alliance and the Iraqiya coalition.

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The MP, of the state of law coalition, Ahmed al-Abbasi predicted that the budget for 2013 will be tabled to vote in the next session of the House of Representatives on Thursday. "

    He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that his coalition has asked to postpone the vote on the budget to next Thursday to finalize the preparation of the final version of the budget, and agreed upon it. "

    He confirmed the existence of a genuine desire for all the political blocs to approve the budget, because passing it has become an urgent necessity, noting that "the delay in approving the budget will reflect on the rights of citizens and damage the state institutions."

    Urgent…..JAC's Cassation Committee invalidates decision of dismissing Mahmoud

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Cassation Committee within the Justice and Accountability Commission invalidated the decision of involving the head of the Federal Court, Midhat al-Mahmoud, in the JAC’s procedures of debaathification.

    A statement by the Committee received by AIN cited “The Cassation Committee in the JAC rejected this decision.”

    Earlier, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, dismissed the head of the JAC, Falah Shanshal, and tasked Basim Shareef al-Badri, to replace him on the background of involving Mahmoud in the JAC’s procedures of debaathification.

    Breaking News…Parliament Chairmanship cancels intended meeting

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Parliament Chairmanship cancelled the extended meeting intended to be held before the parliament session of Tuesday.

    Parliamentary source stated to AIN “The Parliament Chairmanship cancelled the meeting which was intended to be held with the heads of the political leaders over the Budget law of 2013 and the decision of dismissing of head of the Justice and Accountability Commission, Falah Shanshal.”

    Earlier, the Parliament Chairmanship held a meeting to discuss the Budget law draft of 2013 and the decision of dismissing the head of the Justice and Accountability Commission, Falah Shanshal.

    Parliamentary source stated to AIN “The Parliament Chairmanship and the heads of the political blocs held a meeting which will be followed by an extended meeting to discuss the Budget law of 2013 and the decision of dismissing Shanshal.”

    It is worth mentioning that the budget law caused debates among the political blocs over some disputes points in its draft which is supposed to be presented for a vote during Tuesday session.

    Arbil / NINA / Kurdistan Region President, Massoud Barzani left Erbil heading to Moscow on an official visit to Russia, accompanied by a high-level delegation.

    A statement by the presidency of the region said that "Barzani will meet, during his visit, with senior Russian officials and discussed with them on a number of important issues concerning relations between Russia and the Kurdistan region and the political developments in Iraq and the region in general."

    The statement added that the delegation includes Security Advisor of Kurdistan, Masroor Barzani, the President of the region’s presidency office Fuad Hussein , the Minister of Natural Resources of the Government of the Region Ashti Hawrami, the Minister of Construction and Housing, Kamran Ahmed Abdullah, the official of Foreign Relations Department of the Government of the region, Falah Mustafa, and a number of advisors.     KRG: Barzani to visit Russia soon

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Kurdistani Regional Government announced that the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, will visit Russia soon.

    A statement by the KRG received by AIN on Tuesday cited "Barzani will visit Russia in the next few days according to a formal invitation."

    "Barzani's visit is to discuss the political crisis among the Iraqi political sides and the Kurdish side after finishing a Kurdish meeting that adopted the mediation of the Religious Authority to develop the Shiite-Kurdish relations," the statement concluded.

    BAGHDAD / NINA / The Representative of the Kurdistan region resumed its work normally in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers after it stopped more than six months.

    Senior Official sources told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The Representative Office began its work naturally in various fields between Baghdad and Erbil."

    The sources pointed out that Dr. Farhad Nematallah, deputy secretary-general of the Council of Ministers, has been assigned to oversee the representative, in addition to his post as Deputy Secretary-General. "

    It is worth mentioning that remarkable breakthrough between Baghdad and Erbil happened in the recent period, especially after the announcement of the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani to hold an extended conference of the heads of political blocs later this month in Arbil to resolve their differences and get out with a new agreement among those blocs.

    Maliki invites PM of KR to visit Baghdad

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, invited the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Nijervan Barzani, to visit Baghdad to discuss the pending issue especially the oil ones.

    A statement by Kurdistan Regional Government received by AIN on Tuesday quoted the spokesperson of the Kurdistani Alliance, Muaed al-Tayib, as saying "Maliki invited Barzani to visit Baghdad to discuss the pending issues between the two governments."

    "The Kurdish sides, during a meeting, discussed this invitation and authorized Barzani to choose the suitable time to conduct the visit and whether he goes himself or send an envoy to Baghdad to resume the talks over the pending issues such as the Oil and Gas law, the Budget of the Peshmerga and the disputed areas," he added.

    "The Federal Government expressed its readiness to discuss the Kurdish demands where Iraq cannot tolerate more crises among the political blocs," he concluded.

    Iraqi Parliament postpones regular session till Thursday

    Baghdad (AIN) -The Iraqi Parliament postponed the regular session of Tuesday till next Thursday.

    AIN correspondent reported parliamentary source as saying "The Parliament's chairmanship decided to postpone the session that was devoted to discuss the 2013 federal budget till next Thursday," noting the postponement of the session came due to lack of agreement among the parliament blocs over the vote on the 2013 budget and due to lack of quorum."
