    Political disputes not to affect endorsing 2013 budget, says MP

    Baghdad (AIN) -The Independent MP, Khalid al-Romi, stated that the general budget of 2013 is about to be endorsed and the political disputes will not hinder that.
    Speaking to All Iraqi News Agency (AIN), he said " The political tensions directly affect endorsing the laws especially those which require political deal," noting that "The general budget of 2013 was read for two times and discussed by the MPs in addition to handling some notes about it to the Parliamentary Financial Committee.">
    "The Parliamentary Legal Committee needs to hold several meetings with the ministries and the specialized committees before voting on the budget," he added, assuring that "The former budgets were endorsed in February and March where it is early to talk about delaying endorsing the general budget of 2013."

    Mutleg, US Ambassador discuss mutual relations

    Baghdad (AIN) –The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, discussed with the USAmbassador to Iraq, Steven Beecroft, the bilateral relations and the means of improving the Strategic Pact between Iraq and USA.
    A statement by Mutleg's office received by AIN cited "Mutleg, during the meeting, stressed the necessity of developing the service and scientific relations and develop the agricultural, engineering and health experiences to ensure having qualified staff."
    "Mutleg recalled responding to the demonstrators' demands as being public demands where the judicial, executive and legislative authorities must adhere to the legitimate demands," the statement added.
    "The two sides have also discussed the internal situation of lace w:st="on">Iraqlace> in addition to the regional situation and the Syrian crisis," the statement pointed out.
    "For his part, Beecroft expressed his hope to settle the crisis in Iraq and adhere to the dialogue to achieve the national interests, assuring the support of his country to the Iraqi people to practice the democracy, security and peace," the statement concluded.
