Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Yasir al-Yasiri, of the State of Law Coalition pointed out "The lack of the political accord among the blocs hindered the endorsement of the Federal Court law which needs a comprehensive study.
He stated to AIN "This law draft is among the important laws because the authority of the Federal Court comes after the authority of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Parliament," noting that "The Federal Court can reject some law drafts or approve them."
"There are some articles within this law that are disputed among the blocs especially the right of the Islamic legislators' right for veto," he added.
"This draft needs more consideration and the vote over it may be postponed to another date," he concluded.
