"Bush shoe thrower" lead media and tribal delegation to demonstrate in Mosul

Shafaq News / A media and clans delegation from Baghdad arrived to Ahrar square in the centre of Mosul in Nineveh province
to support the demands of the demonstrators in Anbar, Diyala and Nineveh provinces, including the journalist, Muntather al- Zaidi, who threw the former U.S. President George W. Bush with” his shoes."
One of the organizers of the demonstrations in Mosul told "Shafaq News" that "a delegation of clans came from Baghdad and arrived this morning to the sit-ins square in Mosul to announce their solidarity with the protesters in Nineveh, Anbar, Diyala provinces”.
Zaidi surprised the former U.S. President , George Bush with a stream of insults as he threw a pair of his shoes on him after the latter was helding a press conference, accompanied by Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki in one of Baghdad’s’ hotels in 2008, which caused arresting and sentencing him for two years imprisonment.
