House of Representatives refused to accept the resignation of MP for the coalition of state law Hassan Sinead, from the membership of the Council at his request.

According to a parliamentary source, he said that "only 40 deputies voted to approve the request of Sinead, a number is not enough to accept his resignation," referring to "refer the results of the vote to the parliamentary legal committee for consideration."

It is said that Sinead, who has not won in the last parliamentary elections in 2014 has served as a substitute for the parliamentary seat of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who was named as Vice President of the Republic in the current government.
