Iraq urges citizens to hand over Kuwaiti documents, properties which could improve situation with UN, Kuwait : BAGHDAD, Sept 16 (KUNA) ** The Iraqi government called on its citizens who may have information on Kuwaiti documents and properties to send it to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry with a view to handing them back to Kuwait in line with relevant UN resolutions

The (Iraqi) citizens’ cooperation with the ministry is a national act that aims to settle matters inherited from” the former regime, and to enable Iraq to return to its normal position in the international community,” the Foreign Ministry said in a release, a copy of which was obtained by KUNA

Any citizen who may come up with information on such properties will be rewarded for such a significant “service,” it added.
