Council of Ministers declare the closure of the official working hours on Wednesday on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday

Iraqi Council of Ministers announced on Tuesday, the disruption of the official working hours on Wednesday on the occasion of Prophet Mohammad's birth.

General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said in a statement that "on Wednesday (January 23 2015), it will be an official holiday on the occasion of Prophet Mohammad's birth."

Muslims celebrated in Iraq and all over the world on 12 April of each year of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (r), and the celebrations include the distribution of candy and food between neighbors and organize a central celebrations at religious shrines in Baghdad and other provinces.
