(Voice of Iraq) – Baghdad called economic adviser to Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abbadi, on Friday, an expanded Conference to discuss the realities of insurance in Iraq, stressed the importance of this Conference to come out with recommendations discussed the future of the sector.
He said the Prime Minister's economic adviser Mohammad Saleh appearance in interview (range), that "insurance companies in Iraq need to evaluate its work and restructuring".
He called Saleh to "convene an expanded Conference or workshop for insurance companies in Iraq in the presence of the Ministers of trade and finance and the Governor of the Central Bank, banks and all other relevant stakeholders and experts".
He said the Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister that "the Conference to assess the reality of Iraq and the future of insurance and come up with recommendations salutes this sector and enforceable as law reform and the development of new systems and create new companies or cancel some companies".
Saleh noted that "there are many possibilities for Iraq's insurance market and personnel and goods", stating that "this important sector being a profitable sector, backbone of the State".
