The central bank rejects a proposal for the distribution of employees' salaries in dollars

A commission of economy and investment representative, on Friday, the central bank rejected a proposal to distribute part of the employees' salaries in dollars rather than the Iraqi dinar due to the currency exchange difference.



A member of the committee MP Abdul Salam al-Maliki in a press statement that "the Commission proposed the distribution of part of the employees' salaries in dollars but the central bank refused to do so because of foreign currency instead of local teams."



Maliki said that "the central bank said that the large currency printed in the current time is not right."
