CNN shuts down Baghdad bureau


The Cable News Network (CNN) has said it has shut down its bureau in the Iraqi but will "maintain an editorial presence" in the country with stringers, Hollywood Reporter has reported. "While CNN is departing its current brick-and-mortar location in Baghdad, the network continues to maintain an editorial presence in Iraq through a dedicated team of CNN stringers and correspondent assignments as news warrants," a network spokesperson was quoted as saying.
